1 ton per 350 to 500 sq ft depending on heat load...

You might start by not shouting.

Solar Eagle gave a commonly used rule-of-thumb.

For closer calculation, one adds up:
--Heat conduction from outside to inside
--Heat infiltration via air movement through openings (windows, doors, vents)
--Heat loads in the room (people and appliances).

Two dimensional room eh?
Shouldn't take too much to keep this guy cool.

The room measures 10m(w) x 22m(L) x 5m(H)

Using the Fur Ball's Rule of human thermal equivalency of 100 watts per body, you can't cool the room.

You now have an infinite number of Flat Stanley's, so the heat load is 100W X ∞.
