MythBusters: All the myths they've proven or busted

09/27/2005 11:51 AM

If you are an avid watcher of MythBusters like we are where I work, you'll enjoy this list of all the myths they have attempted to prove / disprove and the outcome. My personal favorite is still the chicken gun.

The new season is good. It looks like they are getting a larger budget as they are blowing up more and more stuff.(which is good).
Where overseas are you? I would imagine a satellite network TV would work anywhere.

Now I am in Italy and they do in fact have sat tv. But, I travel around a lot and now I may only have about 2 months left on my contract so I can not bring myself to dish out the cash. I also tend to move between corporate apartments every few weeks. Luckly I found a bar that has sat tv and I am they are letting me take control of the remote

It must be hard having to relocate a lot. I hope that people at the bar enjoy the antics of Mythbusters as much as you do.

Teeth in cola

10/03/2005 8:10 AM

It might be the brand that is important, whether they've changed the formula in the last 30 years, or what type of tooth was used as well as the time.

When my sister was about 8, her class did the tooth in a glass of cola, left it over the weekend and lo! 'twas gone on Monday morning.

A child's milk tooth was used, so this may be more suceptible to acid erosion than an adult's tooth, but I'd still want to give this one a plausible rather than busted rating!

I watch the show every day. I have seen every episode. I love the show so much my parent can't chang the channel till it's over. My dad thinks the mythbusters are a bunch of idiots. But I don't listen to him. I think their some nice guys they're just trying to prove a point. My favorie myth was when they had to go throught the movie traps. If I had to make up a myth for mythbusters I'd want to see if you turn the tv on and off to many times would the tv really blow-up.
