Big Display With Profinet Port

05/19/2014 4:08 AM

Where can we find a large display similar to the below but with a profinet port?

It is used to view process speed and process alarms.

LCD Display 220V AC input, 2 lines, 20 characters, red characters, Ethernet included, EZ Automation, EZMRH-2L20C-E

Check this link for more specs http://www.ezautomation.net/ezmarquee/pdfs/ezmarquee_spec2L20C.pdf

Thank you

Why not try to find it in the internet?

This is a simple supply question right?

Search for "large display with a profinet port".

Plenty of choices. I leave you to your choice of search engine.

Sorry no personal experience to make a recommendation.

Why not just use their store.

we contacted EZAutomation, and they replied that their display's Ethernet is compatible with Modbus TCP/IP, and will not work on a Profinet network!

Even the EZMR-2L20C-P model that includes Profibus will not work on a Profinet network? I find that to be odd.

We contacted Siebert (they have the optimum solution) to get a quotation, but they refuse to deal with our country due to the political situation (www.livelovelebanon.com)! Plan B: use a gateway, but the "profibus to profinet converter" is as expensive as the "display"!

As a wild shot, try Red Lion controls.

we tried Redlion, they have good product and technical support. we asked them to quote the PFM family, but their distributor in dubai offered the PTV family which is four or five times more expensive, confirming that they replace the PFM (which he cannot provide)!
