This sounds interesting. It is somewhat in line with my ideas the past few years regarding wind farms using small windmills that, in high numbers, would produce enough energy to equal one large windmill that cities and towns typically would not allow to be constructed.
Hmmmm, so these shingles would be used on the south-facing part of the roof ... perhaps only in the center leaving the circumference for industry-standard shingles?
Question confuses. Have you check with companies already manufacturing, or distributing, solar shingles. Do you realize the market for them is not rapidly expanding at this point? And even poorer for existing reroofs--in this declining housing market--than new houses...where demand is likely to be greatest? When you say, team, what is the scope exactly? If your effort will include distribution--provided you can manufacture with your own patent, or under license, do you have a handle on the labor which might have to be located and trained to install this highly specialized, niche product. I must assume you have very deep pockets...other wise distribution (of existing solar shingles products) might be the better venture than mfg--but still risky unless you have other roofing products to offer as well. Hope this is helpful.

It is good idea first to start with the supply and get to know more about the market
before jumping into such a venture. But, others have already started with such project keeping in view of such consumptions of the market.

Infact, I am still open and doing research of several products......point is that I want to go in such a venture where it is very new to the market and also some thing special.
As regards to the pocket.....it is not deep as you think but, I have a team of investors...........still I want to work with least posibble money that may be required.
If you have any specific idea.........(I am open on creative ideas to move to the ..) why not we move to the next step.
