SIATA-Ford Convertible

05/27/2014 7:46 PM

Circa 1951, Jimmy Mulgrew of Euclid Ford on 185th St., in Cleveland, Ohio, had me drive a Ford business coupe to New Yew York City, where Tony Pompeo shipped it to Italy where it was rebodied as a lovely, wire-wheeled, SIATA-Ford convertible.

I am trying to find ANYONE with information who may have seen the car on display in Euclid's showroom or have any idea of who bought this car or any subsequent owners.

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dick Irish

I don't know if this guy still has it, the restoration was supposed to be finished in 2012, but if he doesn't, he knows who does....
Looks like it barely escaped the crusher....

Right on! I am trying to help Mr. Glenn develop a list of ownership. His restoration IS proceeding and it looks like it will be a great job!

Oh, ok....I thought you were searching for the car....but you are just working on it's biography....I would try to get the car featured, or at least mentioned, on one of the car shows on cable....and/or attend car rally/meets in the area with the car when finished...If there's anybody that remembers the car, they are likely to have some sort of connection there.....good luck
