Air Flow Measurement by Double Venturi Tube As Primary Element

06/05/2014 8:05 AM

I have a DP type air flowmeter in our plant. Its used to measure the primary hot flow given to the coal pulverisers(MILL). Based on computation sheet given its calculation based on 'LG94-01' standard. Is there any standard for DP type venturi flow measurement?

Any general formula is there for pressure & temperature compensation with DP flow?

Your questions are answered in Mr. Livelli's classic paper, The Fundamentals of Multiport Averaging Pitot Tubes.
Although he is connected with Dietrich Standard (now Rosemount Emerson), the principles apply to all averaging pitot tubes.
