Hilarious that you decided to stay with using a Schneider VFD yet you must not be able to get assistance from Schneider! That should be something they would do for you willingly since you are such a loyal customer...

Should not be a problem, the power connections are the same, but control terminals are different. I suggest you call the local support engineer from Schneider.
Hello Jraef, you don't seem to like "Altis"..which ones ( VSD's) you prefer..?
I am quite comfortable with "Altis" especialy after taking the powersuite software.

I assume by that somewhat unique nickname that you are the same chaterpilar I have seen in other fora.
I bear no malice towards any manufacturer, but I will say that I don't have any fondness for Schneider drives. I was very fond of PDL drives from New Zealand. They were bought by Schneider and sumarilly shut down, their products abandoned in favor of this ATV 71 drive. At the time they did that, I was an OEM using the PDL drives, so I was "forced" to change over to the ATV. I found the drive very difficult to program, not at all intuitive and the Schneider manual was abysmal. I wanted to program a very simple PID loop to control a tank level. I had done it dozens of times with the PDL drive,, ABB, Yaskawa and Teco drives, never had a problem. The ATV took me over 20 hours to figure out, 10 of which I spent on the phone waiting and waiting for assistance from Schneider's tech support, none of which could figure out what was happening. I finally solved the problem without their help (their 24VDC supply for loop power was too weak for my level sensor), but the loop control was never stable and the end user forced me to remove it. I bought a Siemens drive, which I thought was not real easy to program without the software either, but was very easy once I hooked up my laptop. I had it running in 10 minutes, having never seen one before. I had similar experiences with ABB drives, Yaskawa and Teco. In fact, the ONLY drive that ever gave me trouble was that ATV71.
My comment on the above post was because I thought it strangely funny that someone stuck to their brand out of loyalty, just as I had originally, yet 't apparently couldn't get help from Schneider, also as I had experienced, forcing him to turn to an anonymous internet forum for assistance.

Hi Jraef..yes i am the same chaterpilar....i have using Altivars for quite simple applications using pressure transmitters and seem to be working well.
I always prefer independent 24vdc power supplies for all field instruments.
It's a small world....
