I wonder if this is why some politicians want to slash most scientific programs. We can prove our successes and actually learn from our mistakes.

Too much truth in science. It's difficult to manipulate it to suit the politician's (and the people who purchase their votes) agenda.

I hear thru the grapevine (MRB,, Mars Rover Blog),, funding will be stopped,

NASA is going broke,,, off topic,, but my friend (Chief Engineer Retired) was telling

me about,a young lady in Florida (illegal immigrant) with eight children,, each one

drawing $1850.00,, from our Government.

This is no longer the United States I grew up in.
