What is the amplitude?

Must I always ask for clarification...?!?

Given that a picosecond is a trillionth of a second...

and...

in the U.S. a Trillion is 1 followed by 12 zeros, and in Great Britain 1 followed by 18 zeros....

are we speaking in "American" units, or "English" units (of picoseconds)...?!

Would SOMEBODY please un-do the "Babel" ... ?

There is no such thing as an "American picosecond".

milli- means multiply whatever follows by 0.001. micro- means multiply whatever follows by 0.000,001. nano- means multiply whatever follows by 0.000,000,001. pico- means multiply whatever follows by 0.000,000,000,001. etc.

It is true that we in America have screwed up the meanings of words like 'billion' and 'trillion'. but that has no effect on any numbers or prefixes in the SI metric system.

"scope of 1 ps ~ 100 ms" : Does this mean covers a range of seconds from 1x10-12s to 1x10-1s (or 1E-12s to1E-1s)?

Define your use of the word "precision". Is the precision the same at across the entire range?

What calibration standard and method do you use?
