Space X was testing their reusable 3 stage rocket pushing it to the limit....this was a test flight...the rocket began to veer off course and self-destructed by design....

I'll pick the one that works the best and is the most financially viable. We're not there yet.

I'm just glad to see it in private hands.

Hear, hear.

.

My pick would be based on the same criteria.

.

.

On an off topic note; it would be enlightening if the person who marked Kramarat's comment 'off-topic' could explain their reasoning.

But who does NASA answer to? At least Boeing has to face share holders and can't stick it to them without at least some KY jelly, unlike NASA. Oops!

There's no doubt that the lines are getting blurred, but it will always cost less for the government to hire a private firm to do something, rather than attempting to do it themselves.

Although, after witnessing the disastrous roll out of the healthcare website, maybe the government should consider hiring a private firm to run the entire bidding and hiring, (of other private firms), process, with the government's role being restricted to enforcing the law and keeping the private firms honest.

The way to make that happen would be to have the government authorities on perpetual rotation, never having one person in one place for very long.

I can dream.

In a perfect world, free market enterprise would run fairly smoothly and unimpeded, with an honest government busting the criminals.

I can understand allowing a flood of illegals to secure future democrat votes, but I think that seeding the country with MS13 gangsters is gonna have some pretty serious repercussions.

The "flood of illegals" has been going on since before you were born.

They were paid $0.25 USD when they chopped cotton on my uncles farm in west Texas in 1955.

The foreman, AC, was paid twice as much. They all slept in a bunk house.

Not much has changed.

A bit of history for you.

http://www.immigrationpolicy.org/special-reports/closed-borders-and-mass-deportations-lessons-barred-zone-act

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_Act_of_1917

The Obama administration was contracting out "transport" for a flood of illegals, back in January. Long before the current wave of MS13 gangsters arrived. I wonder if the administration is using the Fast & Furious model, and passing out weapons to our new undocumented citizens.

For the first time in history, we are bringing in immigrants, not to work, but to sign up for our free entitlement programs, education, healthcare, etc. It's a slap in the face to everyone that has followed the legal path, as well as to anyone that works and pays taxes.

http://www.theblaze.com/blog/2014/06/24/sessions-says-january-ad-shows-obama-administration-knew-of-pending-immigration-surge/

My gut tells me that Obama and his minions will ultimately succeed, and the US will be toast. I wonder if Canada will grant me political asylum? They take their southern border seriously.

I'm thinking it might be time to hire a private firm to run the U.S. Government!

Lee Iacocca comes to mind also for the job as CEO & CFO.

There are a couple of names that come to mind. Remember back in the days before GE/NBC became a branch of the democrat party?

My pick is whoever is playing golf with El Presidente. The Comcast/Time Warner merger is looking to be green-lighted...double the fun.

You're call is important to us. Due to unusually high call volume, you can wait for eternity or screw off and die. Thank you for choosing ComWarner.
