Leaking Hot Melt Gun

Have with in the past six months purchased a Graco thermoflow 200 hot melt machine. Have had continuous problems with their hand gun dispenser leaking. The problem is excessive wear on the needle and seat. We are a window Manufacture and we are sealing our insulated glass units with a Bostik Butyl #5192. Would like information on similar problems will these products. Would all so like any information on how to resolve this problem.

You need to be sure they are cleaning the gun completely every night. You also need to put the preventive maintaince program in place. Those needles and seats are wear items. Replace them once a week, every week and your leaks should stop.

Prior to the purchase of the Graco we used an Industrial Machine Hot melt machine. The dispensing gun on it would last for years before any repairs were necessary. In all this time on the old equipment do not ever remember replacing the needle and seat. All the repairs were packing failure
