Hot Finish And Hot Forming

09/04/2014 4:17 AM

Hi all,

I am a little bit confused about Hot finishing & Hot forming. I believe that both are same process. Anyone could sort out this?

Because for ASTM A234 fittings one of the manufacturer some times mentioning Hot finished > 850 deg C, Some times they mention hot formed at 620 to 940 deg C.

Nearly every term and every phrase has different meanings in different industries, and even for different companies within a given industry. To get a really useful answer, you must provide really useful details.
