Control Valve Power Up

Dear All,

We have connect the signal cable to control valve and do the confirmation without the air supply. is their possibility to damage the position without air supply?any advise please......

It will not damage a positioner to run it without supply air, but the positioner won't do anything.

In fact, actuators are spring loaded to drive the valve to a known position in the event of loss of the control signal or supply air, so the loss of supply air is a well known fault condition.
