Application of Welded or Seamless Tube for Monel HEX

Hi, can anyone inform me the advantages and disadvantages of application welder or seamless tube for heat exchanger in Cl2 gas media (<60degC)?

Yes. heat exchanger vendors can. Ask them.

Who ever have experiences dealing seamless and welded Monel tube for HEX. I can find the pro and con on OD, thickness, cost, etc from internet. Did anyone have experiences on comparing from the point of potential leakage and inspection test?

Cost is not a factor. Operation team experience Cl2 corrosion attacked on roughness surface of inside seamless tube. That's the reason we are trying to convince ourself with welded tube, but we need more supports on this decision.

In this twenty-first century, nobody uses welded tubes for the bundle of heat exchanger. (Only Seamless)
