4-20mA Simulator Using 10k Pot & 24VDC(750ma Rated) Supply

09/10/2014 7:31 AM

Urgent, please help me do a circuit diagram having 4-20mA output taking in mind the 24V source and 10k potentiometer. Thank you.

You will need many more parts to finish this task; wire, connector, terminal junctions or solder, shrink tubing, other electronic parts.

Getting a potentiometer to vary current between 4 and 20 mA is such a basic question that you have to have either a mental block (I've been there) or an unstated problem (calibration, resolution, noise, explosive atmosphere, etc.) holding you back.

Please fill in your missing uncertainty.

Thank you for replying. Sorry sir, I'm a newbie here. This project is for a device that will be used in sourcing for calibration. I'm asking for a circuit having in mind the 10k potentiometer and 24V but not only those electronic parts.

Sir, sorry but I will make a new discussion, I have put the wrong details. Thanks!

Sorry, the details of this post is misleading so I made a new discussion here http://cr4.globalspec.com/thread/97515/0-25mA-0-100mV-simulator-diagram-24VDC-supply

thank you!
