Reduce the Speed of Slip Ring Motor

hello would i know dat how could i reduce the speed of slip ring motor???

Turn it off.

Reduce the frequency of the current source.

Reduce the amplitude of the current source.

Increase the load, a lot.

But a VFD and use it.

Wow, learned something new today! I had no idea something like that even existed. Way too convoluted compared to what is available today, but at one time there must have been a reason for someone to make such a thing, I'm sure.

Convoluted it may be, but it works. They're still made so can't be all that bad.

I've worked on them up to 2500HP.
