What happened to: Reman Technology for Diesel Engines

Suggest you do a search for "manufacturing start-up"

Define your core competencies.

What a second.... first off, Develop a business plan.

They have plenty of templates you can use. With in the business plan, you define how your is going to be business is going to set up (Vertical or Horizontal) this determines your structure.

You can start running theoretical projections, costing budgeting, risks, contingency plans.... a number of other things as well

Gives you something to hang your hat on so to speak by addressing your weaknesses.

Keep in mind, a good engineer may not make a good businessman. Neither does a poor engineer.

Also, as a engineer, you may question some ethics about running a business profitably and on the level.
