ASME B31.3 Process Piping

Does the ASME B31.3 standard allow for high density polyurethane piping to be used for nitrogen gas at ambient temperatures?

Thank you. South African legislation doesn't always cater for these types of installations. But in our pressure equipment legislation, they do refer to B31.3.

I've not heard of high density polyurethane or of polyurethane being used for pipes. Did you mean high density polyethylene?

I don't see why there would be a problem using HDPE with nitrogen, as long as it's OK for the pressure, whatever ASME B31.3 says!
