Lightning Arrester Blast At 11 kV

Go fuses blow out at 11kv when we are replace the fuse the R phase lightning arrestor blast again we do replace all by new one now B phase lightning arrestor blast.

kindly guide me why this is happen what is the solution?

Your lightning arrsters are being subject to voltages above the MCOV (Maximum Continuous Operating Voltage). This may be due to a resonance condition caused by an excess of PFC (Power Factor Correction) capacitor, high switching/transient overvoltages, or simply improper selection of the LA. Hire someone who is familiar with this topic and let them guide you.

Or... You were hit by a surge (lightning or otherwise), your lightning arresters did their job but were damaged and compromised in doing so, which is part and parcel to their function. You are now finding that out one at a time using the old "smoke test" procedure.

Here's how I read your test procedure: 1) observe that fuse is blown. 2) replace fuse without determining why it blew. 3) blow next fuse. 4) repeat until budget is exhausted. This procedure, by the way, is frighteningly common.

The "smoke test" unfortunately is used with anything involving electricity. But you would think hope that someone working in and around 11,000volts would have enough basic troubleshooting skills to troubleshoot why they are blowing fuse(s)

Check the obvious 1st, ratings, connections, earthing of LA's, the line, then work back to the source if this is on the incomer. Why are no protection relays tripping?

Also check that the lightning arrestors haven't developed faults to earth causing phase to ground faults.
