	I am Abhishek located in India We would like to know if you can perform an audit on electronic devices that may include computer desktops, laptops, electronic chipsets, routers, modems etc. This audit may cover following key areas: • Reverse engineering • Cost analysis • Electronic assemblies configuration audit • Bill of Material audits • "As built" configuration audit (or validation) We may provide you with the costed bill of material (CBOM) which has to be cross checked with the original hardware. Audit methodology may include :  Audit of parts going into the CBOM  Audit of "should cost" on the CBOM  Comparison between the CBOM and the "as built" item  Configuration audit that includes assessment of ECO (Engineering change order)/ECN (Engineering change notice) implementation. Do not post phone numbers or email addresses. The CR4 Admin will delete all phone numbers and email addresses posted in threads or comments. You can share this information via the CR4 internal messaging system.

	I worked for a company that is giving 80 years of intellectual property to India (Avionics). If these folks are smart, they will offer to build and house a design center, and get all the current state of the art IP for free. Why reverse engineer antiquated technology? They outsourced the hardware verification, and software verification to both China and India. This included the detailed "DOORS" requirements with all comments on why the design was implemented via the documented method. All in the name of share holder value, by a CEO that never worked as an engineer. __________________ ignator -

	i think, it is not an issue of smartness...I worked with an EPC company in the past with a strange work culture.The company management (Top management) never interested to purchase theirown heavy equipments for the projects.Equipment division was under the control of a manager with more than 20 yrs of experience in that company itself.He had good connection with all equipment rental companies in that location to get commission for each deal. so, IMHO, loss of commission is the issue...

	I can see the value of everything after "We may provide .. " and a couple of the items in the top half, but, like a lot of others here, "Reverse Engineering" comes through in Bold, Flaming, Underlined, Italics. Can anyone say "SCAM" (and tell me how to make the letters trail flames)? __________________ Been away a while. Miss all my old friends. Some of you I KNOW are still around. Where are the rest?
