References for Steel and Aluminium Wheels

10/28/2014 7:53 AM

I am looking for information on steel and aluminium wheels. It should include historical, chemical and most of all technical information on that topic. I could not find anything useful. Do you have any suggestions?

Nothing useful. You're still out of luck.

How many hits did you get with Google? I got about 47,100,000. I didn't read them all.

Most likely, depending on how deep you want to dive, Automotive OEM's and Aftermarket will consider this proprietary information. Unless you work for them, supply to them, or part of the government that regulates them, the most you will find is that they're round, hold onto a tire, have holes for lug nuts, and spin really fast.
