I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but there were a lot of threads about buried pipe, so here goes.
A customer would like to bury pre-insulated tubing. His job is in Wyoming and the tubing will be used as a drain from a compressed air system. The tubing in question is 316 stainless steel, seamless 1/2" .035 wall. The insulation will be Aerogels which is hydrophobic. The jacket is FR- PVC. So, if he doesn't wish to use a conduit, is there a particular type of bedding and back-fill material he should be considering? Would a different jacket be a better choice?
