The role will involve working on a wide variation of projects
and will encompass all aspects expected within a senior Structural Engineers
role. It will involve taking design from inception to completion and also the
management of more junior Engineers. Other main duties will include dealing with
current clients demands whilst also encouraging the development of the business
commercially through obtaining additional clients within Aberdeen and
throughout Scotland.
Who
we're looking for
The successful candidate will be:
• Degree educated and have proven experience working in a Structural/Civil
Engineering role.
• They will be of chartered status or have the ambition to become a chartered
engineer in the immediate future. The individual must be self motivated and
loyal to the long term progression of the company.
• The job will be located in Aberdeen, therefore the individual must live
locally or be willing to relocate.
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, Structural Computer
Analysis and Microsoft Office.
• They will also have experience working with reinforced concrete, structural
steelwork and commonly used building materials.
• The successful applicant will preferably have experience including roads and
drainage, flood risk analysis, and SUDS.
• The successful candidate should expect to work within a compact environment
and be able to integrate with other members of the company.
