Reinforcement Analysis on Duct Transition

12/05/2014 5:26 AM

We employ an equipment for which circular ducts are to be used.

This particular application requires the duct transition to reinforced with rectangular bars at equal intervals but I am unsure of a method of doing any analysis for the strength -given the design conditions, materials and sizes.

Any help regarding this would be highly appreciated

Have you ever heard of a "Fermi problem"?

Hire the services of a consulting engineer for these continuing problems.

Have someone model it and let the program analyze it.
