Thanks. I found the picture, but reading the article proved to be too painful.

It's not that it's boring; it appears to be an attempt by the original researcher to translate from his/her native language into English. This person clearly speaks some English, but apparently never had any formal training in English spelling or sentence structure. As Rixter said: it is painful to try to read it.

...somewhat akin to those 'help desk' people in India and other places who may or may not know what they are talking about, but speak with such a strong accent that I can only occasionally pick up a few words of what they say; I certainly do NOT understand concepts from such people.

Perhaps this is just a weakness of mine... 50 years ago, I was studying Spanish at UCLA, and remember hating the part where we listened to tapes, because I had such difficulty understanding them. Even when talking to a person who speaks my own native Western US English, I normally watch their mouth, not their eyes, to better understand what they are saying. I can't remember doing otherwise. I'm an extremely visual person; when I hear a new word, either in English or Spanish (the only languages I know well), even though I hear a word several times, I don't hear it well or truly understand it until I've seen it in correctly written form.

Thank you! I haven't figured out how to narrow a search and sometimes I spend hours searching through the hits a search engine returns.

actually, what I was going for was, "a silicon/graphene super capacitor and yes the research I was looking at was done at Vanderbilt U. the idea was rather than use the typical construction methods of a foil and insulator rolled up in a typical cap, the research was based on a silicon wafer with graphene baked into it to increase parking places for electrons.
