The day will come when something goes wrong or fails with a car or the system. A big question with monorails is how do you evacuate passengers from the vehicle if it is disabled for some reason or catches on fire?

RUZway transsit system and its Gibird vehicle is totally well designed and appropriate technology, as i ve patented since 1991 in India as ithad escape fireprood schute which firebrigade uses under floor so even infant can be evacuatedon the side sof the door bays aswell as there is rope ladder for fire & Rescue staff to climb up too.

Given the smaller size and presumably lower elevations of your system, the rope ladder and chute are probably acceptable escape/rescue methods. I will admit being a bit provincial in visualizing US systems which tend to be much larger, and mounted with higher elevations that would preclude your methods. The other factor that we in the US must consider for design is taking into account how people various disabilities can be fully served (blind, hearing loss, paraplegic, etc.).
