You just have to love F1 technology.

Almost all of that technology eventually finds its way into road cars at some point.

It really is the cutting edge of 21st century technology, much like NASA was in the 1960s.

I did read once that in Germany there are no Ferraris allowed here to have a trailer hitch....sadly!!!

That was a nice motor (engine). My older brother had one in his '67 Chevelle with all the usual mods. Fuely heads, high rise manifold, 4 barrel, cam with lots of lift and overlap, totally tubular headers (sorry for the 80's reference), cherry bombs, four on the floor with a Hurst shifter, ladder bars, air shocks, . . . . did miss anything else out of the J.C. Whitney catalog?

Man, that thing wouldn't idle for itshay, but it loved to rev and screamed when it did. Scariest ride in my life with my brother behind the wheel. He loved to smoke. The burn-out divots in the pavement behind the auto shop at the high school are still there today (40 years later). He would get old tires, mount them up just to smoke 'em.

Back in the day, any Chevy older than 1968, with a small block in it was always raced as a 283 with a four barrel on it. Is anyone else watching Street Outlaws on cable?
