Did you ever consider that your problems may be related to your unregistered software? If you're a legitimate company get a legitimate copy. We don't provide copyrighted software or tech support for pirated software.

"right now I don't have the registered version" - Aha, are we supposed to assume that in the past you DID have the registered version? If so, check your file backups and everything can be restored! Or, are we supposed to assume that in the future you WILL have the registered version? If so, it will be just as quick to get the licensed software now, as to get the dirty copy! The dirty files don't load any faster :)
"I've need a temporary version" - Temporary theft of intellectual property is no less theft than permanent theft of intellectual property. Once this problem is resolved, did you plan to un-install the dirty software and pay for the licensed software? I can save you a lot of time! Just pay for and install the licensed software, then you will not need to spend time un-installing the dirty files!

Try the Rockwell site. Sometimes you can get a limited time (couple days) of a demo version or one that runs for a couple hours. Especially if you have a previous license.

Basically you have a $10,000 problem.

If you have a printout (or the programmer will spill the beans), and have one of the ENBT cards, and can identify the controller name, task, and register name and timer name, then interrogate the ControlLogix via Ethernet for the data you want. That is transparent to the system and may be a work around, since so far you have not asked to change the program.

Guys Hold down.

I agree that it's not good to have a unregistered stuff, We are middle in the desert with a new plant, We are establishing and crawling towards the best. I didn't wana to use to it for permanent basis, Even over here we have strict policies for such stuff,

Some time you need to catch the wrong hand to fix for time being, I wish I can share my order PO's over here with you.

Thanks for your advices, You guys are senior over here, Sometime such stuff can be advised with nice words, which have more impact, rather than with taunting way.

Swap out the PLC. Go for a Unitronics or a Delta or Horner etc.

Paying Allen Bradley just encourages them .

What, you don't like renting your software?

(I think they take business lessons from Microsoft.)

As having been a small business owner, I understand what your saying. But this is over the line.

Feelings have nothing to do with it, what you are doing no matter the what the long term intentions are, Its Still THEFT.

Like they said, download another copy of the correct version but on a different computer. After the free trial time expires, that copy won't work either.

AB software comes with a free trial interval so you have to eventually buy it. Or you can keep buying new computers. It knows how long it has been on any particular computer. The time bomb starts ticking when you first start it up on any particular computer. The question becomes this: Which is cheaper? A new computer every time you have a problem, or the software itself?
