Will Google Be Your ISP Via Space X?

I hope not. Goggle is even dumber and slower than Windoze, in my experience. My IP circumstances almost require both, but I'm not sure which is the worse contributor to the slowness and ineptitude of my system.

I haven't done any calculations since before Google existed but If I recall correctly the one way time of flight is about (location dependent) 130 ms for geosyncronous birds, potentially much less for low earth orbits. Starting with a geo bird the client up time, down time, server up time, down time will all add up to about 520 ms. Add in processing times and various equipment delays and it it even longer. Thus, a geo sync bird is not going to work very well for games, phone calls or any other rapid, interactive activity. Low earth orbit birds will be much (possibly MUCH) faster but still will be slower than fiber buried beside the rail road tracks.
