How to Test Genset AVR

kindly,is there any way to test genset avr outside genset?Iam using 3phase genset.rat has bitten the wires at the alternator.no power output now.I guess avr faulty.my test indicate alternator is ok.so how to test to make sure it is avr problem?pls. help.any method to test avr at the table?

AVR catalog will help but best solution is show it to a generator workshop.

thanks so much.but is there any way to test avr board on the table. ?let say with ac 220v power suply in and out put join to 12v bulb?i have a bit knowledge. but i need some more information.any one could help?is there any guide to repair avr board?
