3D-Video on Slow LCD Screen From L/R Pal Cameras

03/01/2015 9:44 AM

Need to create 3D video without crosstalk, on a slow LCD screen from Left and Right PAL Cameras

Need off the shelf (nice to have) "engine/circuit" with the following features: inputs L/R pall video from two cameras , outputs: 3D video signal for a slow time response LCD ( a video signal without crosstalk), and sync pulses for the 3D glasses.

Any feedback welcome.

I need a new truck. Boat would be nice.

House could use a paint job, too.

Good luck with your wish list.

daveross100:

Here is the benefit of my own experience w/ 3D alternate field shutter-specs.

I settled on using my Sun workstation CRT monitor - because - I already tried using slow LCD monitors. Headaches and nausea after very short viewing times. The flicker-flutter is so bad that the whole time you're watching is real torture! Please don't waste your time on the slow LCD.

My Sun monitor refreshes at 120Hz (double the NTSC rate) and because of the high refresh-rate, provides a good-enough (smooth-enough) 3D view for a comfortable one or two-hour session. 240Hz monitors are still pretty rare (= expensive), but that would be even better.

Cheers
