Train for Success

Posted November 09, 2009 8:04 AM

A surge in basic, rather than advanced, hydraulics training enrollment is apparent. Has your organization prepared for the future by training people to not only enhance their skills but overall company expertise as well—resulting in being able to better respond to future technology and market developments? Or does such training not pay at this time, in this economy?

The preceding article is a "sneak peek" from Hydraulics, a newsletter from GlobalSpec. To stay up-to-date and informed on industry trends, products, and technologies, subscribe to Hydraulics today.

It is all about long term plans and culture in the organizations. If human groups are stable and longer, the co operative culture may evolve.

Make people aware about market products, competitions and on going trends and inspire people to come out with new ideas.

Introduce KAIZEN culture.

Training as a whole especially dealing with product system is a must particularly to equipment dealers of product involving track-type tractors, hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, etc. It is a way of transferring technical know-how on a 'regular updated' basis how each product have been developed and became competitive. This is also a way wherein needed product support can be undertaken especially service repairs which involves system knowledge dealings like application & troubleshooting hydraulic system.

Improving technical knowledge and skills of service personnel, in particular should be a requirement of an organization in order for a product in the market are ' not left behind ' of its technical innovations. This is also advantageous to those people who are directly involved with the product themselves since they are always kept abreast of product development, new technology applications, etc.

So, I consider training of personnel especially those involved in service operation of products as a must. Starting from the basic knowledge to the advance curriculum, as a whole.
