You've probably never heard of a 1986 movie called The Wraith, but it featured this killer Dodge concept car called the M4S
Turbo Interceptor. Its little four-banger had a lot more power than the B-movie ever enjoyed at the box office. Now CarDomain member escaperoute has put together a cool ride page
detailing the history and restoration of this movie car.
"The car you see here is based off a Dodge/PPG concept car
called the M4S Turbo Interceptor. M4S stands for 'mid engine 4
cylinder sport'. The M4S was a technological marvel for it's time. The
idea was to squeeze as much horsepower as they could out of a 4 cylinder engine.
The Chrysler 2.2 engine was modified with a 16-valve Cosworth head, Bosch fuel
injection, twin turbochargers with air-to-air intercooling. The M4S cranked out
a whopping 440 horses and had a top speed just shy of 195 miles per hour."
