The U.S. medical device industry can expect increasing scrutiny in the near term as the FDA revises pre-market notification and product safety requirements. Device makers should prepare pro-actively to ensure that they can continue to compete and innovate as regulations evolve. I am using digital Glucometer and Blood Pressure Monitor, I am doubtful if both are giving accurate results.

If you are not a technically oriented person, you can easily validate the accuracy of your parameter measuring device readings by comparison method. By comparing readings for low mid and highest range of your aneroid or digital meter. i.e., BP sphygmomanometer reading accuracy can be compared to mercury column readings. Considering the mercury and its glass envelope are both clean, readings for different static pressures will be accurately reflected, since the design of this device were all based on the inherent physical /chemical characteristics used.
