Posted May 24, 2010 7:51 AM

Things are picking up - machine tool sales are 33% up on this time last year. But what are manufacturers buying? Has your business invested in new equipment over the last few months? Are you personally getting your hands on some new kit at work? If so what - big machining centers or smaller, more specialized equipment? Have vendors improved their machines or after-sales service? If the recession has made manufacturing leaner, has it also made it fitter?
