Nano (Steel) for You?

Much like carbon composites, nano steels engineered on the sub-microscopic level offer strength benefits. New approaches are needed to improve their ductility, and this will require non-traditional processing techniques and equipment. When can such fabrication technology become viable for making parts and components large enough for wider ranging applications?
