Off-the-Shelf Digital Camera Sees Cancer in Real Time

Posted June 25, 2010 7:37 AM

Nice, even though for real-world use there are probably some technical hurdles to overcome.

Although personally I don't know if I'd trust it for medical use. For reasons that camera manufacturers have never been able to satisfactorily explain, for many years now their equipment has produced weirdly distorted pictures of me where I look progressively old, overweight and bald.

This problem never happened with my trusty film Polaroid 30 years ago! Must be some digital imaging problem.

Still ain't got nuttin' on the original Rife microscope. (You can find quite a bit of info. on the web -- a lot may be nonsense. But after reading his story in the book, "The Cancer Cure That Worked", I believe he had something genuine and that it was squashed.

I for one will be interested in getting the fiber-optic camera attachment when it is available. Nice work.
