What's Your Favorite Single-Use Tool?

Posted July 27, 2010 1:46 PM

From Lifehacker:

An organized, non-cluttered home isn't supposed to have many, if any, of them. But weird, single-use tools, be they bacon flippers or niche office supplies, are sometimes irreplaceable by common tools. We want to hear why you love your own esoteric items.

A sliver of wood picked up off the garage floor, used to mix epoxy on a old tool catalogue. when you are done, tear off the page and throw away the wood.
Whoops, I've answered the wrong question of course...I thought they meant single use tool not single-use tool.
I do have home made gizmos for my bow making...
For fitting horn nocks onto the tips of longbows, and a fletching jig for arrows.
I could list more but I don't want to put you all to sleep.

I've picked up old ice picks from garage sales. I keep one at home and one at work. I have to say their pretty handy.

Using (or is it playing?) w/ my Plasma Torch.........there's nothing more sexier than cutting through a piece of steel akin to cutting through butter with a hot knife!

My wine bottle opener. It would be sacrilege to use any other way.
