From New York Times:

BLACK art is an apt description of tire design, an activity whose major advances include the invention of the pneumatic tire in the 19th century and, in the 20th century, the development of steel-belted radials and tubeless tires.

I found that I need to register, too.

However, the camber does effect tire contact resistance and will impact mileage and tire wear.

The drawback is to get more mileage you must trade off cornering grip. The same goes for high mileage tires, you trade grip (stopping, cornering, and acceleration) for better mileage and tire life.

I think I'll wait to get my tourch out and add more camber to the F-150.

You could put in weaker coil springs and add a heavier engine. LOL

I bet the person who posted this is in the circulation department for the NY Times. I too got the login screen. Not for me at this time.
