Don't you need two for stereo?

More seriously, restored old radios command a premium these days. Seems to be a shame to bastardize one so you play an iPod in mono. Sort of like making a Casio keyboard out of a Chickering.

You could use two of those cast aluminum drive-in movie speakers for separation, the ones that "bastardized" your car windows when you forgot to remove them upon leaving. Unfidelity at its finest!
