Amazingly, This Turntable Was Built From Motorcycle Parts

In a collaborative effort, Triumph Motorcycles and art students transformed motorcycle parts into everyday gadgets: like turntables, bowls, corkscrews, scales and even a hat stand. They're all so classically gorgeous and uniquely designed, it's amazing.

The headline is very misleading. It looks like a standard turntable (Ariston RD80 by the looks of it) with the standard aluminium platter removed, and replaced with a slightly modified brake disc. And then part of a Triumph cylinder barrel has been bunged on the side. It's like fitting a leather platter mat and saying your turntable is made from cows.
