Pedal Cars For Adults

Posted January 18, 2011 12:32 PM

I think the Velomobile is great and so is the price. At a current $7300.00 with roof, it is out of my league and cost more than some small cars. Admittedly, It does have a sexy allure. However, I think I could spend about $800.00 for a Cabbike and get a thrill out of it too. It comes with a Li ion battery and brushless hub motor and works as easy or hard as you want. Still get exercise and go farther. Unless the price drops to something affordable to the masses, the Velomobile will not quickly gain a foothold in popularity. I am in the market for alternative transport but I am eliminating the Velomobile for now.
