Will Video Consume Internet Bandwidth?

Posted May 04, 2011 1:25 PM

Pundits and industry insiders agree that streaming content via the Internet is the future, which will inevitably lead to even more demand for bandwidth. How will the demand be met by the internet service providers (ISPs)? How will consumer and surveillance videos compete for internet bandwidth? Which type of video do you expect to dominate in the future?

Video graphics qualities are directly proportional to the bandwidth usage. By using good video compression techniques and algorithms will help minimize bandwidth usage. Additionally the use of equipment designed that enhances bandwidth sharing thru proper frequency multiplexing will also improve the signal processing capabilities of a system.
