I guess that falls under Priority Mail, so $4.95 by 3,000 (must have some prolific writers on that sub) or $14,850?

Probably the only "leading edge" technology concept before digital satellite linked communications & data transmittal became available. Only one who had no concern for cost (just raise taxes again) would have considered it even remotely practical. Technology advances, but it appears that government waste keeps pace.
