Anybody with any sense and caring for their health should do as much as is practical in their own lives to take responsibility for their health. Diet is a huge factor. Who in their right mind wants to have to take ANY drug or pharmaceutical? They all have side effects. Some relatively mild, like aspirin. But they all do. Even beans have side effects. And some would argue potentially lethal. I'd be more concerned with doing whatever it takes to avoid drugs rather than worry about where they are coming from.

In pharmacies they should include the country of manufacture with the name of drug in the invoices so that innocent patients will not be cheated.

For your kind information any Pharma company which is interested selling its products in U.S has to get FDA approval. FDA approval takes long time some times years and approval is given after many visits to the mfg. plant and it is ensured that all strict regulations are followed by the Pharma company which include cleanliness as per international standards, clinical trials of the drug, quality standards etc are maintained. It is not easy job to get FDA approval since many big giants have failed or their approvals are withdrawn.I do not think any pharma company has been approved without visit to overseas plants.

Some patients who used drugs made in third world countries hate those drugs although they themselves are from third world. Plenty of drugs enter this country (USA) one order at a time from outside sources. I received a mailing last week for purchase of drugs made in India from a "Canadian Pharmacy". I have good drug coverage in my insurance, but I'm sure many people without insurance will be purchasing the drugs, which may or may not be as safe and effective as those they "replace". The advertisement DID point out (not too boldly) that the drugs were not an exact replacement.

On internet I get many e-mails for many drugs even narcotic drugs. One should never buy any drugs from such sources but only from registered Chemists.

U.S Customs can inspect anything it wants to at the importer's expense. Homeland security has implimented a plan where any freight container destined for the USA be scanned for radioactivity at point of shipping at the exporter's expense. I find it hard to swallow that the FDA is "unable" to inspect the things for which they are responsible. Get the different agencies working together.

As for buying your drugs on the internet, well then you take your chances and don't blame the FDA.
