I tried the recommendations and my boot time did speed up a little. I do like the Soluto program as it shows what is taking time to boot and gives easy controls to suspend startup items.

Thanks to a recommendation from a CR4 member I use Advanced System Care and have found that it is effective in cleaning up my windows machine. It also has quite a few other tools to tweak the OS of my machine.
