Retirement? You're Kidding, Right?

Posted September 20, 2011 7:00 AM

A series of stock market plunges and a continuing string of news stories about underfunded pensions and the demise of government social service programs has made more than one person push back retirement plans, or even question whether it will ever be possible. Does your company have a strategy for insuring pensions? Will you retire as expected or continue to work in some capacity? How can companies attract the best talent with withering benefit offerings?

ILO rules should be implemented in all UN member states, otherwise penalties and if necessary UN membership including nations which help it should be cancelled. When i wrote to ILO regarding non-payment of retirement benefits(provident fund)to me they wrote you cannot write direct to ILO but only through an organisation. In dictator ruled(democratic) country from 1977 trade unions in new companies were not functioning. In such a situation who can tell ILO to amend their rule to allow any individual(without membership in trade-workers-union)to directly write to ILO regarding his/her problems in workplace?

You will only count if you have multitudes supporting your action--but you do have what 'they' do at your disposal. Your multitude doesn't REALLY have to know what you are after, nor what's actually in it for you personally that they ain't gettin. They don't even REALLY need to know much of anything; and they don't even need to REALLY support 1 out of 100 of your issues.

Just do what they do. They created the template and use it everyday.

If ILO rules do not support workers they should be amended to be beneficial to workers/employees,whether they are executives,white/blue collar.
