Do You Have a Favorite Key Perfomance Indicator?

Six Sigma values. Productivity. Rework percentages. Unplanned downtime. Actual versus planned costs. Overall equipment effectiveness. They're all examples of key performance indicators (KPI) that show where your company is succeeding and failing. Do you have a favorite that best captures the performance picture best for you? In turn, are there indicators that really aren't that useful?

EBITDA - Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation & amortization. The main goal of business is to make money (or you will not survive). Of course others mentioned above roll up into EBITDA. As always, measure what you want to improve.
