I notice that three out of six of these are in... Canada. So much for the complaint that we haven't yet colonized our own uninhabitable places.

Out of all of these, I would only dispute whether the subsea station off the coast of Florida really resembles other planets, as much as it resembles a luxury tourist destination.

Robert Heinlein would be proud! these sound like the transports described in The Moon is a Harsh Mistress - well, apart from the transformer bit! Sci-Fi turning into Sci-Fact again!

I liked the improvised chocks on the Oxygen producing vehicles. And Don't Eat the Yellow Snow!!

I'm somewhat surprised that the Great Central Desert of Australia didn't feature...I guess that's just too far away from NASA's home base...

Now I think of it, are the warm waters of Florida a good analogy for an asteroid? Wouldn't an Artic/Antartic subsea station be more realistic?
