Sounds like a logical step forward...

Why not an iPhone/Android app so ordinary consumers (or perhaps only those that have met some kind of criteria) could send GPS-tagged photos of damage to the electric utility? The utility would not always have to wait for a technician to get there to start organizing/sending replacement items...
